I remember when you sat on my wing…
All my insides were aflutter.
Glory welled up into gorgeous, opulent drops,
And dripped off us both,
Like long kept passion.
Our embrace…with allies overhead to witness.
Neither wanted to let go.
The next day…in that dogfight,
Your photo never left my lap.
It was my fuel to come back.
